Immersive Experiences
LOVE & HAPPINESS
The program aims to help couples resolve conflicts by using light to reflect their emotions and allowing them to control them interactively. When a user's voice rises during an argument, the light shifts from calm to chaotic. To restore calmness, users must hold hands with their partner while each touches one end of the lamp holder, bringing the light back to its normal state. This encourages both emotional awareness and cooperation in conflict resolution.

Design ideation
Media selection Lamps are ordinary household furniture that can reflect emotional changes through light, making them ideal for interactive designs. Their presence in everyday environments and ability to visually express emotions through illumination makes them suitable for devices intended to enhance interaction.
Conversion of emotions Converting sound into visual light helps quarreling users become more aware of their emotions and distracts and diffuses tension.
Expression of interaction As an interactive medium, the lamp allows users to change colors and flicker frequencies by holding hands, enabling them to visualize their emotions. This helps them pause their argument, reconnect emotionally, and restore harmony between the quarreling parties.
The Interaction Process

Light reflects emotion
The state of the light changes when it receives a certain decibel level. From calm breathing to chaotic flickering.

Interactive process
Two people who are arguing stop arguing, hold hands, and touch their other two hands to the ends of the lamp.

Status 1
Calm Status:
The light will be yellow.

Back to calm
The circuit board forms a closed loop that generates a new command, at this point, the lights change and return from a chaotic state to an initially calm one.

Status 2
Flickering Status:
When the lamp detects high decibel levels, it turns red and flickers continuously.
