PROGRAM
This project comprises three main products: an app, an intelligent Band-Aid printer, and a smart Band-Aid. Together, these products address user needs for wound care. The app scans the wound and guides the user through the smart Band-Aid printer with proper dressing steps. Additionally, the printer produces a custom Band-Aid that matches the wound. The printed smart Band-Aid can track the wound's healing in real time and send updates to the app, helping users avoid secondary injury to the wound.
Drunk driving is hazardous, claiming many lives each year. I've seen cases around me, and while I can't stop people from drinking, I decided to tackle drunk driving at its source in this project. When the driver's alcohol level exceeds the legal limit, the car's alcohol detector displays the level on the interface and triggers an alarm. Simultaneously, the vehicle's electric system will cut power and slow down the car. The interface then offers the driver options for a professional driving service or an emergency contact.
This project visualizes 6,000 noise complaints data from NYC Open Data, detailing the time, location, description, and type of complaints. The goal is to raise awareness about noise pollution in New York, a city overwhelmed by noise due to its high population density and bustling activities. Through creative data visualization, real noise is metaphorically represented as flashing brightly colored square elements, symbolizing the disruptive nature of noise. The design encourages viewers to reflect on how reducing unnecessary noise can improve urban living.
In traditional Chinese culture, love is often expressed subtly rather than through direct declarations like "I love you." This collection introduces Chinese love letters and offers a personal interpretation of these intimate messages. It emphasizes the importance of expressing love in ways that resonate with different cultural backgrounds. Users can explore photo and text formats, choosing the one they prefer. The fusion of Chinese calligraphy with classic English fonts creates a visually harmonious experience, reflecting the beauty of love across cultures.
